North High School, Phoenix | Sat. April 28th | 6:00 – 8:30 pm

“Welcome to RivALZ Blondes vs. Brunettes Phoenix, wherein two teams of professional women–divided to reflect the classic rivalry of blondes and brunettes– compete in a game of flag football to inspire fundraising, awareness, and action in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. There is nothing “powder puff” about these ladies though. With heart, dedication for the cause, and commitment to their team, this is sure to be an event you won’t forget. Join us April 28th for a night of fierce competition, all in the name of charity. Gates open at 6:15PM. Local food trucks will be onsite. The halftime performance is provided by the Phoenix Suns Golden Grannies. Tickets should be purchased in advance. We hope to see you there to support the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!”
Volunteer opportunity for all adults with Down syndrome (ages 16+) and their parents/caregivers. Prior registration required. DSNetwork does not provide supervision at this event, please plan to have a parent/guardian or chaperone attend this event (parents may volunteer or remain on site). You are encouraged to stay and watch the game after taking tickets and passing out programs. DSNetwork will be hosting an informational table about Down syndrome and aging.
