Meet Jayclyn: Ambassador of 2021 Down Syndrome Walk Arizona
“The Down Syndrome Network of Arizona was the first program I found for her my daughter Jayclyn, where I felt she would be provided with all the resources she and the I needed,” says Jayclyn’s mom Renae. “I have learned so much throughout these nine years, which I can credit to Down Syndrome Network AZ.”
Jayclyn’s team feels the Down Syndrome Walk is an important time to not only bring awareness about Down Syndrome, but it’s a great time to raise money to ensure these great resources continue. The walk is also very important because it’s a time that we can connect with other parents to learn more and build connections, and our children can spend time with their friends. It’s also a moment in time that the Down syndrome community can be celebrated by friends and family. There is nothing better than having family cheering on the sidelines while our children walk by.
“As our journey continues, I’m truly thankful we have a network that is connected to all families of all ages so we can continue to learn, educate and get ourselves prepared for what’s to come,” say Renae. “I’m thankful for this incredible journey and I’m thankful to have the DSNetwork along for the ride.”
